Return & Refund Policy

1. Custom Order Nature
All items are made-to-order based on customer specifications. Because these items cannot be restocked or resold, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or returns for:
  • "Change of mind" or buyer’s remorse.
  • Incorrect measurements or files provided by the customer.
  • User error or mishandling of the 3D-printed part.

2. Defective or Damaged Items
We stand behind our quality. If your order arrives with a significant manufacturing defect (e.g., severe delamination, wrong material, or a part that is unusable beyond normal process characteristics), please contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery.
  • Evidence Required: You must provide clear photographs of the defect, the shipping box, and all internal packaging.
  • Resolution: Upon verification of a manufacturing error, we will, at our discretion, either re-print the item at no cost or issue a refund.

3. Normal Process Characteristics
3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. The following are not considered defects and do not qualify for refunds:
  • Visible layer lines and minor surface textures.
  • Small marks from support structures or manual removal.
  • Minor cosmetic blemishes or "zits."
  • Dimensional Accuracy: Parts are subject to a standard tolerance of ±0.5mm or 1% (whichever is greater). We are not responsible for fitment issues if tolerances were not accounted for in the provided design.

4. Safety & Usage Disclaimer
  • Non-Structural: Unless otherwise stated, prints are for decorative or prototyping use only. They are not rated for load-bearing, structural, or safety-critical applications.
  • Food Safety: 3D prints are not food-safe due to bacterial growth between layers. Do not use for food or drink consumption.
  • Environmental Limits: Standard materials (like PLA) may warp or soften if exposed to high heat (e.g., inside a hot car) or prolonged UV light. Damage from environmental exposure is not covered.

5. Intellectual Property (IP)
By submitting a file for print, the customer warrants that they own the rights to the design or possess a valid commercial license. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold [Night N' Day 3d Printing] harmless from any legal claims regarding copyright or patent infringement. We reserve the right to refuse any order that appears to violate IP laws or contains restricted content (e.g., weapons).

6. Cancellations & Fees
  • Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only before production has begun. Once the printing process starts, the order is locked and non-refundable.
  • Labor Fees: Charges for 3D design, CAD work, or setup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, regardless of whether a physical item is printed.

7. Shipping & Pickup
  • Shipping Damage: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged items and packaging to initiate a claim.
  • Return Costs: Unless the return is due to our confirmed error, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Abandoned Orders: For local pickups, items not collected within 30 days of completion are considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of or resell abandoned items without a refund.
